Yuvraj Singh’s career was spoiled by Virat Kohli. This is not said by us but by former cricketer Robin Uthappa. Uthappa has said that Virat Kohli forced Yuvraj to retire.

Yuvraj Singh retired in 2019.

New Delhi. Team India’s veteran all-rounder Yuvraj Singh had said goodbye to international cricket in the year 2019. Yuvraj started his/her career in Nairobi in the year 2000 under the captaincy of Sourav Ganguly but his/her career ended after 19 years. Former cricketer Robin Uthappa has held Virat Kohli responsible for all this. Robin has said that Kohli forced Yuvraj to retire.

In an interview given to Lallantop, Uthappa said that Virat Kohli forced Yuvraj Singh to retire and his/her management did not include Yuvraj in the team. Kohli did not treat him/her properly. What’s it like for someone who has beaten cancer and is trying to make a comeback at the international level? he/she won us two World Cups. he/she played an important role in India’s victory.”

Talking about Virat’s captaincy, he/she said, “I did not play under Virat’s leadership. But as a captain, according to me, Virat was a highway captain. People are not like that. Your captaincy depends on how you look after your team, how you treat your teammates, and not just on the results of the matches.”

Uthappa further said, “Yuvraj had asked for some relaxation in the level of fitness test, but Virat rejected his/her request. When Yuvraj requested Virat to deduct two marks (in the fitness test), Virat refused. Still Yuvraj gave the test. Because he/she was out of the team and he/she was not being taken.”
