Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray has suffered the biggest blow in the Maharashtra elections. This is because the party seems to be limited to only 21 seats in this election. After the split in Shiv Sena, Shiv Sena of Eknath Shinde faction which went with BJP alliance has got 54 seats. The figure of Shiv Sena of Eknath Shinde faction is higher even if the seats of the entire Maha Vikas Aghadi i.e. Congress-Shiv Sena (UBT)-NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) are combined.

Anyway, before the start of the elections, Uddhav Thackeray’s camp had named it real Shiv Sena and fake Shiv Sena.
