Did Sunny Singh get any benefit in Bollywood from being the son of an action director? he/she said- I will have to give auditions

Kartik Aaryan had said recently that he/she has no friends in the industry. Whereas Sunny Singh, who has appeared with Kartik in films like ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’ and ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’, says that he/she and Kartik share a very good friendship. Sunny is currently seen in the film ‘Love Ki Arrange Marriage’ on OTT. Here are some special excerpts from the conversation with him/her:– Kartik Aaryan, who has shared the screen with you in many films, recently said that he/she has no friends in the industry. Is it so difficult to make friends in the film industry?
Kartik and I have a family-like feeling. We belong to the same group, so we are very good friends. he/she must have made some friends recently, so he/she must have thought that maybe the friendship is not like that. Because now he/she is busy, I am also busy here. But our friendship is the same as before. Whenever we meet, we meet very well and stay close to each other. Whenever we talk, it is the same as it used to be before. So nothing has changed. But I will definitely say that I also do not have many friends. That means the old friends are there and the friends are only in the group. Now I do not get enough time to meet new friends or make friends with new people.

– There is always a war between insiders and outsiders in the industry. Karthik also talked about this. Did you get any benefit from your stunt director father Jai Singh Nijjar?
The advantage is that I am very happy that I am his/her son and he/she started his/her career in a very simple way where he/she worked as a fighter. Then he/she worked as an action director which is very difficult. So we also have to do a lot for father. But I knew that I will have to give auditions. If you are not going for look test-audition, not working on your craft, then no filmmaker will take you in the film. If you are working hard on your art then you will become an actor. Here art is everything so it does not matter whose son you are. I myself have struggled a lot. When I worked continuously, worked hard on myself, then only I got roles.

– You are appearing in the film ‘Love Ki Arrange Marriage’. When this film came out, what was going on in your mind?
Me and its writer Raj Shandilya are friends, so there is a lot of discussion between us. When we talked about this film, I was very excited because there is a love triangle in it which is very funny. Also, there are very brilliant actors like Rajpal Yadav sir, Anu Kapoor ji and Supriya Pathak ji. It is like a dream for all the actors to work with this cast. These people take the level of comedy to a different height. The love triangle shown in the film is very good. I always want to do such films. Also, the story of a single parent has been shown. So there are many layers which will be fun to watch on ZEE5.

– What matters the most when you sign a film?
For me, the script matters a lot. If while reading the script you feel that the audience will like it and the film is being made in the same style, then it is fine. How the story has been written, what it is based on, all these things matter a lot. But as a performer you get excited only when it is written in a good style. So for me the script matters a lot.

– What is your relationship status? Are you dating anyone?
Right now there is no such thing. Actually my family does not put pressure on me to get married. They have always believed that whenever I look for someone, I will do it according to my own choice. So till date no one has told me anything. There has been no pressure from friends either.

– What are your upcoming projects?
In the coming days, I will be seen in Risky Romeo. This film is directed by Abir Sengupta. Apart from this, I have worked in Wild Wild Punjab. I have also shot for many films. So, in the coming days, I will be seen in many projects.
