Did not get a place in the Test team, responded with career best bowling, turned the tables


New Delhi. Team India’s young fast bowler Arshdeep Singh is waiting for his/her Test debut after making his/her ODI and T20 International debuts. he/she did not get a place in the two-match Test series against Bangladesh. In his/her place, another left-arm pacer Yash Dayal was selected in the Test squad against Bangladesh. However, after this Arshdeep has responded with his/her performance. Punjab’s left-arm fast bowler Arshdeep Singh gave India D a big win against India B by giving the best performance of his/her career in the Duleep Trophy match. Arshdeep took 9 wickets for 90 runs in 29.2 overs in this match, bowling 7 maiden overs.

Arshdeep Singh had played 18 first class matches before this, but he/she was never able to take more than 5 wickets in a match. In the match played in Anantapur, he/she took 6 wickets in the second innings against India B and gave his/her team a big win by 257 runs. In the second innings, Arshdeep took six wickets in 11.2 overs. Due to his/her sharp bowling, India B team collapsed for 115 runs in the second innings. In the first innings, he/she took 3 wickets in the form of Mushir Khan, Suryakumar Yadav and Nitish Kumar Reddy. On the basis of which India D got a lead of 67 runs in the first innings. India B had a target of 373 runs.

Arshdeep Singh bowled brilliantly in the second innings. he/she dismissed India B captain Abhimanyu Easwaran and Suyash Prabhudesai in the first two wickets. After this, he/she sent Suryakumar Yadav to the pavilion in the second innings as well. After this, Arshdeep dismissed the tail-enders. India B team collapsed in 22.2 overs.

Arshdeep Singh can do the same thing as Zaheer Khan in Tests
Arshdeep Singh is being seen as a model of former left-arm fast bowler Zaheer Khan. Arshdeep can do the same work that Zaheer used to do in Tests. Arshdeep has played two World Cups. he/she has the experience of playing 8 ODIs and 54 T20 matches. he/she has enough experience. he/she can bowl well in difficult conditions. However, it is not surprising why the selectors did not give him/her a chance in the series against Bangladesh. The selectors may think of taking him/her on the Australia tour.
