Dharmendra should have received Dadasaheb Phalke Award, which has not been received till now: Hema Malini


Hindi film industry veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty has recently been announced to be honored with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. After this announcement, there was a wave of happiness among his/her family members and fans. But now a shocking statement of yesteryear’s famous actress ‘Dream Girl’ Hema Malini has come to light. She says that her husband and actor Dharmendra should get this award. Hema Malini said that Dharmendra should have got the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, which he/she has not received till now. he/she said this at the inauguration program of the 131st National Dussehra Fair in Kota.

Mithun Chakraborty became arrogant after winning the National Award, said- The producer, seeing his/her mannerisms, said, ‘Get out’!

Hema had also congratulated Mithun on receiving the Dadasaheb Phalke Award on October 1. While sharing the photo, he/she wrote in the caption, ‘Very happy to hear that this year’s prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award has been given to Mithun Chakraborty. Mithun da has left an indelible mark in the film industry with his/her action films and his/her dancing skills and he/she fully deserves this honor. Honor will be given on October 8

Apart from being an actor, Bollywood’s ‘Disco Dancer’ actor Mithun Chakraborty is also a former Rajya Sabha MP. he/she will be honored with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award at the 70th National Film Awards ceremony on 8 October 2024.

Mithun has received 3 National Awards, was also awarded Padmashree.

Mithun has worked in more than 350 films so far. he/she has also received the National Award three times and has also been honored with Padmashree. In the year 1989, 19 of his/her films were released, hence this record is recorded in the Limca Book of Records.

Padma Vibhushan to Dharmendra

The Government of India awarded Dharmendra the Padma Vibhushan in 2012. he/she is now 88 years old. In his/her career spanning six decades, he/she has worked in more than 200 films.
