Dhanush and Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s divorce final, Chennai Family Court gives verdict

South cinema’s famous actor director Dhanush and Aishwarya Rajnikanth have officially divorced. On November 27, 2024, the Chennai Family Court approved this divorce. After 18 years of marriage, both of them had decided to separate. A family court in Tamil Nadu on Wednesday approved the divorce between Dhanush and Aishwarya Rajinikanth. Film director Kasthuriraja’s son Dhanush and superstar Rajinikanth’s daughter Aishwarya got married on 18 November 2004 with the blessings of both the families. They have two sons Yatra and Linga.

Had announced separation in the year 2022

Dhanush and Aishwarya Rajinikanth had announced their separation in 2022 after several years of marriage and filed for divorce in January 2022. Although both of them did not attend the court hearing thrice, but on November 21, both of them participated in the in-camera proceedings in the Chennai court.

Hearing held behind closed doors

On November 21, he/she appeared before Justice Subhadevi, who conducted an in-camera hearing. It is said that during this time both of them remained adamant on separation and finally the judge approved the divorce between them on Wednesday.

‘We both decided to go our separate ways’

Let us tell you that on January 17, 2022, Dhanush and Aishwarya had issued a joint statement announcing their separation. They had written, ‘After 18 years of friendship, time spent together as husband, wife and parents, we have both decided to part our ways.’
