On Wednesday, BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis gave a statement in this regard. he/she said that a decision in this regard will be taken soon. Fadnavis may soon go to Delhi, where he/she can meet the top leadership of the party. Devendra Fadnavis said while talking to the media that ‘Senior leaders are discussing about the post of Chief Minister. A decision will be taken soon. he/she said, ‘The answer to the discussion on the post of Chief Minister will be available soon. The leaders of the three parties involved in the grand alliance will take the decision together. The seniors are discussing.

Fadnavis also said that first the name of the Chief Minister will be decided, then the names of the ministers will be decided. Fadnavis will first attend a private program in Sambhajinagar. Then will participate in another program in Nagpur. After this he/she can go to Delhi, where he/she can meet the top leadership of the party.

‘Everyone wants to make Fadnavis the CM’

Maharashtra BJP chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule said that everyone in BJP wants Devendra Fadnavis to be the Chief Minister. Bawankule said, ‘The workers of the allied parties involved in the Mahayuti want to make their leaders the Chief Minister. The leaders of all three parties will sit and decide. BJP workers never get angry with the decisions of the central leadership. his/her decision is final. Party leaders take the right decisions. The Chief Minister of Mahayuti will take oath soon. Bawankule also reminded that when Uddhav Thackeray had betrayed the BJP, it took him/her one and a half months to form the government.

What is Shiv Sena’s stand?

Shiv Sena MP Naresh Mhaske said that his/her camp is with Mahayuti. Even if Fadnavis is made the Chief Minister, he/she will not be different like Uddhav Thackeray. Mhaske said on Wednesday, ‘We are not Uddhav Thackeray who will leave if he/she does not get the chief minister’s post.’ In the results of the assembly elections held on November 23, Mahayuti achieved a big victory by winning 234 out of 288 seats.

What was decided before the elections?

Before the elections, Mahayuti had said that they are contesting the elections under the leadership of Eknath Shinde. The decision on the post of Chief Minister will be taken after the results. Hours after the results were announced on November 23, Shinde had said that the decision on the post of Chief Minister would be taken by the alliance leaders. Shinde resigned from the post of Chief Minister on Tuesday. he/she will remain the acting Chief Minister until the new government is formed. The tenure of the outgoing assembly ended on Tuesday, increasing the need to quickly swear in the new government.

Sources said on Wednesday that if Shinde is not given the post of Chief Minister, he/she has demanded the Home Ministry.
