The election of Brahmin Sabha Julana was conducted peacefully through voting in Lord Parshuram Dharamshala of Julana. In which Devendra Devarad was elected head, Rohtas Brahminwas secretary and Satpal Kaushik elected treasurer. Julana Brahmin Sabha organization was formed in the year 2004. From then on, elections were held unanimously every three years. This year, for the first time, when a consensus could not be reached in the elections, voting was conducted. The Assembly has 493 members, who are also voters. In the assembly elections, 6 candidates had nominated for the three posts of President, Secretary and Treasurer. Out of which, for the post of President, Devendra, resident of Devrad village and Shriram Sharma, resident of Brahmanwas village, for the post of Secretary, Dharambir Shastri, resident of Brahmanwas village, Rohtas and Julana, and for the post of Treasurer, Satpal Kaushik, resident of Fatehgarh village and Dayanand Sharma, resident of Gatauli village, nominated for the post of Secretary. The assembly elections were conducted under the supervision of Lekhraj Gautam, Jagdish, Rohtas, Deviram, Mahabir Rajbir. The election results were declared late on Sunday evening. In which Devendra Devrad of Pradhan post got 270 votes. Rohtas Brahmanwas got 249 votes for the post of Secretary and Satpal Kaushik got 236 votes for the post of Treasurer. All three were declared victorious and appointment letters were handed over while Shriram, resident of Brahmanwas village, got 130 votes, Dharambir Shastri, resident of Julana, got 150 votes and Dayanand Sharma, resident of Gatauli village, got 162 votes. The three newly elected officials said that they will try to live up to the responsibilities entrusted to them by the people of the society and work will be done in the interest of the society in coordination with everyone. Former Sarpanch Satbir, Krishna Bhardwaj were present on this occasion.
