Shravasti: A land dispute turned into a bloody conflict in a village under Malhipur police station area of Shravasti district of Uttar Pradesh. Two people have died in the fight. Meanwhile, the injured are undergoing treatment in the hospital. At the same time, police is deployed in the village, so that the atmosphere of the village remains peaceful.
Ram Pheran, a resident of Nakaha village of Kotwali Bhinga area, had purchased seven bighas of land from Sanwali Prasad, a resident of Babupurwa of Malhipur police station area, twenty years ago without any written education. Ramferan and his sons got greedy as the price of that land increased manifold, due to which Ramferan along with his family members reached the said field on Monday morning to sow it with the intention of taking possession of it, while Vidyaram Yadav spent a week in the same field. Had earlier sown mustard and wheat. The Rampheran side, which came to take possession of the field, started plowing the crop sown by Vidyaram with a tractor. As soon as Vidyaram and his family got wind of this, they reached the spot and protested. On this, fighting started between both the parties.
Seeing the dispute, Pankaj, who was driving the tractor, crushed Vidyaram Yadav, due to which he died on the spot. His wife Hemavati broke her hand after being hit by a tractor. Many family members including Akhilesh were injured. On the other hand, Nanke died during treatment. As soon as information about this dispute was received, a heavy police force including Superintendent of Police Prachi Singh reached the spot and admitted the injured to the hospital. The police have started arresting the accused. The police have registered a case on the complaint of both the parties. Police have also arrested Kanhai, Hemraj alias Hemau from one side and Akhilesh, Daddan, Vidyaram Kewal, Munnalal from the other side.
