Mark Wood became the first bowler to take 5 wickets in an innings for Lucknow Super Giants on debut last season itself. Apart from this, he/she became the second England bowler after Dimitri Maskerhanes to take a five-wicket haul in the IPL. Kyle Myers played a blistering inning of 73 off 38 balls. In the end, Nicholas Pooran 21 balls 36 runs, Ayush Badoni 7 balls 18 runs contributed significantly to reach the score of 190 runs. In response, the Delhi team could only score 143 runs losing 9 wickets in 20 overs. Without Rishabh Pant, the batsmen of the Delhi Capitals team led by David Warner disappointed a lot here.
