Delhi Weather: Fire raining from the sky in Delhi-NCR! IMD’s prediction about heatwave is frightening

New Delhi: In most parts of North India, severe heat has started again for the last few days. Be it Delhi or UP, people are sweating profusely everywhere. On Tuesday, the maximum temperature in Narela, Delhi and Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh was 47.1 degree Celsius. According to IMD, severe heat is going to continue in Delhi in the coming days and the temperature will again be seen touching the sky. This entire week of Delhi is going to bear the brunt of heat wave. The Meteorological Department has also issued an orange alert for heat and heat wave today and a yellow alert for June 14 to 17. Due to which the maximum temperature will increase. Let us tell you that today, June 12, i.e. today, the maximum temperature can reach 45 degrees. The Meteorological Department has also issued a warning of severe heat and heat wave. Delhiites will have to wait for relief from the heat as there is no possibility of storm or rain in the near future.

Heatwave alert issued in Uttar Pradesh

Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh recorded the highest temperature of 47.1 degrees Celsius in the state. The maximum temperature in Varanasi was 45.3 degrees, Baghpat and Fursatganj 45.2 degrees Celsius, Fatehpur 45 degrees and the state capital Lucknow recorded a maximum temperature of 44.7 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, Agra received light rain. Amid the increasing heat of summer, the mercury reached 44.7 degrees on Tuesday. This was the highest temperature of June this time. According to meteorologists, earlier in June 2019, the day’s mercury was 44.9 degrees Celsius. Four years later, the mercury has once again reached its peak. Meanwhile, the night temperature was recorded at 31 degrees, 3.8 degrees Celsius higher than normal. According to the Meteorological Department, there is no hope of relief from heat in the entire state including the city at present. Along with this, an alert of heatwave to severe heatwave has been issued in the state for four days.

Monsoon reached Gujarat four days earlier

The southwest monsoon hit Gujarat on Tuesday, four days ahead of schedule, a scientist of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said. Ramashrya Yadav, scientist at IMD, Ahmedabad, said that the monsoon usually reaches Gujarat by June 15. he/she said that light to moderate rains with thunderstorms are expected in all districts in the next two days. The Gandhinagar-based State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) said that till 6 am on Tuesday, isolated areas of several districts received rainfall ranging from one to 40 mm in the last 24 hours.
