Chances of rain in Delhi even today

According to the Meteorological Department, the sky of the capital will remain cloudy on Sunday as well. There is also a possibility of drizzle during the day. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has also given an update regarding monsoon. According to IMD, this time there will be good rain in Delhi. Meteorologists say that El Nino will turn into La Nina in July. This may cause more than normal rainfall in the monsoon. At the same time, monsoon may knock in Delhi between 28 and 30 June.

Monsoon will knock in many districts of UP today

According to the Meteorological Department, monsoon may knock in many districts of eastern UP today. IMD has issued an alert of rain with strong winds at many places. At the same time, eastern Uttar Pradesh has been declared completely heat wave free. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in many districts including Saharanpur, Meerut, Bulandshahr, Muzaffarnagar, Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Aligarh, Khairi, Bahraich, Shravasti, Gonda, Balrampur, Siddharthnagar, Balrampur, Maharajganj, Kushinagar, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Ambedkarnagar, Azamgarh, Jaunpur, Varanasi, Mirzapur, Prayagraj, Ghazipur, Sonbhadra, Pratapgarh, Fatehpur, Hamirpur, Banda, Jhansi, Mahoba and Lalitpur from June 22 to June 26.

Rain alert in many districts of Bihar

Monsoon has already reached Bihar on 20th June. According to the Meteorological Department, monsoon will cover the entire Bihar in the next two-three days. IMD has predicted rain in many areas till 25th June. According to the forecast, due to the effect of active monsoon and low pressure, good rain is expected in most of the districts of North Bihar. Heavy rain is expected in Sitamarhi, Madhubani, West Champaran, East Champaran and Gopalganj districts in the forecast.

Red alert for storm in Karnataka

Heavy rains accompanied by strong winds are expected at many places in the coastal and southern districts of Karnataka during the next five days, in view of which fishermen have been warned not to venture into the sea and a ‘red alert’ has been issued. The Meteorological Department has said that heavy rains are expected in the coastal Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Uttara Kannada districts of the state. Meanwhile, the local administration has said that traffic has been disrupted due to waterlogging on roads at many places in these districts. Apart from this, heavy rains have been occurring in Kodagu, Shivamogga, Chikmagalur and Hassan districts of southern Karnataka for about a week. Many rivers are flowing above the danger mark. Many roads are closed due to landslides in Kodagu district.
