Delhi School News 2024: Diwali holidays are over and now the time has come for school to open after a long holiday on Monday, 4th November. Meanwhile, many students and parents may have doubts about the opening of schools on Monday amid pollution. With the arrival of winter, the level of pollution in Delhi starts increasing and during Diwali it starts touching its peak. On Monday, the air quality index (AQI) was at a very dangerous level at most places in the National Capital Region.

Will schools remain closed on Monday, November 4?

Due to increased pollution after Diwali, there have been reports of schools not holding assemblies at some places, however, no official update has been issued in this regard that schools will be closed on Monday due to pollution. That is, as per the scheduled schedule, schools are going to open at the scheduled time in the National Capital Region of Delhi on Monday.

Delhi CM has declared holiday on 7th November:

After Diwali, schools are going to open in most places on Monday, 4th November, but after a few days on 7th November i.e. Thursday, students will once again get a chance to take a holiday because this time there is a holiday in the schools of Delhi on Chhath Puja. Chief Minister Atishi has announced to keep Chhath Puja holiday i.e. public holiday in Delhi. CM Atishi had also given a written order to the Chief Secretary of Delhi directing him/her to issue a notification in this regard.
