Delhi Nursery Admission 2025: Last date to fill admission form in Delhi schools is near, first list on 17th

Last five days are left to fill the admission form for nursery class in 1741 private schools of Delhi. Applications for open nursery seats can be made till 20 December 2024. Marks will be uploaded by schools on January 10 for the academic session 2025-26. After that, on January 17, 2025, all the schools will release the first list of selected children. This year the Directorate of Education has fixed the last date of admission as 14 March 2025.

Delhi Schools: KG and Class 1 admission also

Along with nursery, admissions will also be held for KG and Class-1. In private schools of Delhi, admission is done on 75% seats (open seats) on the basis of different admission criteria like distance of home from school, alumni, sibling, girl child. Fees for these open seats are fixed on the fee structure of the school. Is. Any parent can apply for his/her/her child.

Delhi Nursery Admission 2025 Dates

  • Many private schools are taking forms offline, many online and many in both modes. Parents will have to fill forms for all the schools for which they want to apply.
  • All private schools will upload the list of all the children who have applied on the website on January 10, under the 100 point criteria.
  • The first list and waiting list will come on January 17.
  • If there is any question or confusion on the points on this list, parents can talk to the school from 18th to 27th January.
  • The second admission list will be released on February 2 and if seats remain vacant, the schools will release the third list on February 26.

What is the age requirement for Delhi School Admission?

In Delhi private schools, the age should be between 3 to 4 years for Nursery, between 4 to 5 years for KG, between 5 to 6 years for Class-1 (by 31 March 2025). The school head can give 30 days relaxation in age (minimum and maximum). Apart from this, if we talk about the documents required for school admission in Delhi, then you should have these documents-

  • Ration Card/Smart Card (includes name of parents/father, name of child)
  • Domicile certificate of child or parents
  • Voter ID card of one parent
  • Electricity bill/water bill/MTNL phone bill/passport in the name of one parent
  • Aadhaar card of one parent

Free admission in Delhi schools

At the same time, the remaining 25% seats are free seats, which are reserved for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) / Disadvantage Group (DG) and Special Children (Child with Special Needs – CWSN) categories. The admission process for EWS admission in Delhi i.e. free admission in private schools of Delhi is yet to start.
