Delhi govt course: Delhi government started 15 days certificate course, 1.5 lakh applied

Delhi Government certificate course: Thousands of youth to fight against corona virus and all medical crises Delhi Government (Delhi government) will give training. The state government has launched certificate course for medical training. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia (Deputy CM Manish Sisodia) gave this information on Monday. In this campaign, a total of 5000 youth will be trained through batches of 500-500 candidates.

The Deputy CM said that the youth would be groomed as medical assistants to equip them with basic skills and knowledge to fight any medical crisis. For this a two-week certificate course has been started. This course has been started in partnership with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. Delhi government has disbursed Rs 5 crore for this initiative.

What training will you get?
Delhi government will give two weeks training to youth to prepare medical assistants. In the first batch, 500 people will get training, they will be given training in medical skills like life support, heart functioning, covid-care, blood testing, sampling, first aid, home care etc.

Deputy CM said – will prepare ideal youth force
Sisodia said after launching the course, “We want to create an ideal youth force in Delhi who is equipped with the basic skills and knowledge to deal with any medical crisis. Our youth will not only be ready to face any crisis but they will be able to provide medical assistance to their families and people in their society. . This shows that people are excited to be a part of this course and learn.”

At the same time, the Health Minister said, “Considering the fact that there is an increasing need for such medical assistants in the hospital who can help the nurses and doctors, this course will be able to provide employment opportunities to the people.” Medical kit will also be given along with the certificate. This kit will have a blood pressure monitor machine, thermometer and oximeter.

What will happen in the first and second week?
During training, you will be taught how to measure oxygen, blood pressure and how to inject drugs. This course is divided into two phases. The first week will consist of dedication and demo training, while the second week will consist of practical training.

Know where the training will take place?
Nine hospitals in Delhi have been included for this course, where basic training will be given. These include- Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, Rajiv Gandhi Super Specialty Hospital, Chacha Nehru Child Clinic, Sanjay Gandhi Hospital, Ambedkar Medical College, ESIC Hospital Basaidharpur, Hindu Rao Hospital and Vardhman Mahavir Hospital.
