Delhi EWS Admission 2024-25: Race for EWS admission in Delhi schools has started, know the rules

Delhi School EWS Admission 2024-25 Apply Online: If you are waiting for admission in a private school in Delhi, then this news is for you. Admissions are starting in private schools of Delhi under the Economically Weaker Section quota. The Directorate of Education has released the details of the EWS admission process for classes 2 to 9 in the capital’s schools. A list of schools in which admission can be taken has also been given.

When to fill Delhi EWS School Admission Form?

According to the information given on the official website of Directorate of Education, edudel.nic.in, the form for EWS School Admission 2024-25 Delhi will come on September 3. The last date to apply online will be 13 September 2024. The application process will have to be completed from the website of Delhi Directorate of Education only.

Keep this in mind while applying for EWS Admission

• Only one application will be accepted from one mobile number. If more are accepted, it will be rejected.
• It is necessary for the child’s parents to have an Aadhaar card. Its photo will have to be uploaded during the application.
• For EWS admission, it is necessary to be a resident of Delhi. You may have to provide income certificate or residential certificate as proof.
• Those children will be eligible for this admission whose parents’ family income is less than Rs 1 lakh per annum.
• Do not make any mistake in filling the application form, because if this happens then it cannot be corrected. You will have to fill a separate form.
• If you fill in some other address in the form, and after getting selected, you fill in some other address at the time of admission, then the school can cancel the admission.

How will EWS school admission happen in Delhi?

The applications will be shortlisted. After that the selection will be done through lucky draw. This lucky draw will be taken out from the computer, for which the date of 20 September has been fixed.
