The rainy season is going to start once again in the capital from Thursday. The department has issued a yellow alert for the next two days. This can bring down the temperature by four to five degrees Celsius above normal. Also, Delhi can break the old record regarding rain and make a new record. In the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of heavy rain with the turn of the weather.

According to the Meteorological Department, a new round of rain is starting in Delhi from Thursday. Due to this, Delhi will be continuously wet for the next two days. The department has forecast that there may be heavy rain in Delhi with wind speed reaching 30 to 40 kmph.

Rainfall conditions will remain the same for Kwar, as a result the temperature may reach 31 degree Celsius till Friday. At the same time, the minimum temperature will remain up to 24 degree Celsius. According to meteorologists, the new round of rain can also set a new record of rain in Delhi.

Because, till now a total of 1146.4 mm of rain has been recorded in Delhi, which is the highest in the last 46 years. In the year 1975, 1155 mm of rain was recorded at Safdarjung, the official standard center of Delhi.
