Delhi NCR air Pollution: Today’s weather and AQI 22 November 2024: Amidst the pollution crisis in Delhi-NCR, the cold is increasing rapidly in North India. Be it Delhi-NCR or UP-Bihar, chill is being felt in the morning and night. While the temperature is continuously falling in North India, a rain alert has been issued in South India. (weather forecast 22 November 2024) The temperature continues to fall in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Punjab and Haryana. Whereas in Delhi-NCR, people are troubled due to pollution and smog. (today’s weather) Delhi’s air continues to remain poisonous. The average AQI was recorded here at 371 on Friday morning. Whereas this morning, a thick layer of fog and smog was seen in most areas of Delhi including the capital and in many areas AQI has crossed 400 which falls in the ‘severe’ category. Moreover, pollution levels remain ‘very poor’ in most areas. According to the Meteorological Department, there is no possibility of further decrease in the temperature of Delhi in the next two to three days. As the month of November approaches, cold has now knocked across North India including Delhi. After the drop in morning and evening temperatures, along with quilts and blankets, jackets and sweaters have also appeared in homes. But in the country’s capital Delhi, pollution along with cold is taking a toll on people’s breath. After the mercury has fallen in the hilly states, the weather has become pleasant there too.
