Dear Akshay Kumar! Donated Rs 1 crore to feed monkeys of Ayodhya

Special preparations are made on Diwali in Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Ram. Thousands and lakhs of oil lamps are lit. Light is scattered everywhere. Amidst all this, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has donated an amount of Rs 1 crore for the monkeys there. he/she has donated this amount to feed the monkeys. Reports say that the actor has taken this step to seek the blessings of Lord Ram and to protect animals which are very important in Indian culture and mythology. According to the information, the initiative to feed the monkeys is being taken by Anjaneya Seva Trust. According to a report in Times Now, the head of the trust, Jagatguru Swami Raghavacharya Ji Maharaj, asked Akshay Kumar to join this noble cause and the actor immediately agreed.

Donation in the name of parents and father-in-law

A member of the trust also said that Akshay actively donates to various causes in the name of his/her parents Hariom Bhatia and Aruna Bhatia and father-in-law Rajesh Khanna.

The trust member said, ‘Akshay is not only a generous donor but also a socially conscious citizen of India. he/she was equally concerned about the citizens of Ayodhya and the city and hence we will ensure that no citizen is inconvenienced while feeding the monkeys and no garbage is spread on the streets of Ayodhya after feeding the monkeys.’
