Deadpool and Wolverine made a huge profit in the first weekend, worldwide collection crossed 3669 crores

In the first weekend, this film has grossed 438.30 million dollars (Rs 3669 crores) worldwide. While at the Indian box office too, it has beaten films like ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ and ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’. Seeing the pair of Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman together on screen is like a gift for the fans. Deadpool’s character has a good fan following in India, while the audience was already eager for the entry of Wolverine of the X-Men franchise in the MCU. Especially in 2017, this character was buried in ‘Logan’. In such a situation, Hugh Jackman’s return on screen as Wolverine is making people crazy.

‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ earned Rs 66 crore in three days

According to the report of sacnilk, on the third day of its release on Sunday, this film directed by Shawn Levy has made a net collection of Rs 22.50 crore in India. This film had earned Rs 21 crore on the opening day. While on the second day on Saturday, the business was Rs 22.65 crore. In this way, in three days, ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ has made a net collection of Rs 66.15 crore at the Indian box office. This includes all four versions – English, Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.

Surpassed ‘Black Panther’ and ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’

In terms of earnings at the Indian box office, ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ has surpassed the last four releases of the MCU in the first weekend. The Marvels, released in November 2023 last year, earned Rs 6.40 crore in India in the first weekend. Earlier, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, released in February 2023, did a business of 25.85 crores in the first weekend. Similarly, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, released in November 2022, did a business of Rs 42.20 crore in the first three days. While Thor: Love And Thunder, released in July 2022, earned Rs 46.40 crore. However, ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ could not beat the earnings of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, released in July 2022. It earned Rs 79.50 crore in three days in India.

‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ Worldwide Collection

Marvel and Disney’s ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ have surpassed expectations in terms of worldwide earnings. The film has earned $438.30 million (Rs 3669 crores) worldwide in its first weekend. According to ‘The Deadline’, this is the biggest R-rated film opening ever in the US. This is the biggest global opening of the year 2024 so far. Not only this, it has also earned more than ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ released in 2022. With this, MCU films have so far crossed the earnings of $30B (Rs 25,11,81 crores) worldwide. R-rated means a censor certificate, in which children below 17 years of age are allowed to watch the film with an adult.
