New Delhi. A very exciting match was seen in IPL on Wednesday 24th April between Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans. Delhi, who came to bat after losing the toss, scored 224 runs at the loss of 4 wickets on the basis of captain Rishabh Pant’s stormy innings of unbeaten 88 runs. In the end, Delhi registered a spectacular victory by 4 runs. After this brilliant innings of Rishabh Pant, DC coach Praveen Amre has also praised him.

Praveem Amre said after the match, “During the first time out, we were discussing what our ideal score would be. Rishabh was confident. He said that up to 180 runs would be scored but further said that the score could also be higher. After this, he single-handedly took the team’s score to 224 runs. It all started in a two-week camp in Vizag. He himself came there and practiced.”

He further said, “I remember the first day of the Vizag camp, he (Pant) came to the ground straight from the airport. It’s all a matter of hard work and he is getting the results. This was really an amazing innings for him. It was quite a fun game. They were very close in the match. But if we had won even by 1 run, victory would have been ours.”

Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant played a tremendous innings against Gujarat Titans, scoring an unbeaten 88 runs off just 43 balls, hitting 8 sixes and 5 fours. Chasing the target of 225 runs, Gujarat Titans could score only 220 runs. At one time it seemed that Gujarat would win this match easily but Mukesh Kumar managed to save 19 runs in the 20th i.e. the last over.
