What is cyber slave syndicate?
People go abroad to become IT or rather AI officers, but become ‘cyber slaves’. Trapped in the clutches of an international cyber syndicate, they are then subjected to ‘cyber scams’ like slaves. In fact, Indian IT engineers proved their capabilities in foreign countries. To capitalize on this golden opportunity, the International Cyber Syndicate started creating fake firms and creating vacancies for IT jobs with attractive packages. The reality of vacancy becomes known when ‘cyber slavery’ is being done by making misleading promises.

Torture of youth trapped in clutches
Youth are illegally held hostage and forced to commit cyber fraud. They are taken to South East Asian countries in the name of data entry vacancies, where they are forcibly subjected to cyber scams. This also includes threatening cryptocurrency or trading investments. If anyone is reluctant, he/she is tortured.

Government’s advice: Wait, think, take action
Recently, I4C ran a campaign to make the youth of the country aware against cyber slavery. How in this cyber crime, people are lured by the lure of job abroad and then by taking them abroad, they are made to commit cyber crimes. Scammers lure jobs by giving false promises. The victims are kept in inhumane conditions and tortured. The government says to check the job carefully. Trust only government registered agents.
