CSK won the toss and decided to bowl first. The Mumbai team scored 155 runs while batting first and targeted Chennai for 156 runs. CSK achieved this score with 5 balls.
Rohit Sharma and Ryan Recelton came out to open for Mumbai Indians. But Rohit was dismissed at zero. Ricelton could not stand at the crease for long and was dismissed by 13 runs.
