Created history by taking 12 wickets, but did not get special credit

New DelhiThose who play big shots often steal the show in T-20, those who hit fours and sixes remain in the headlines, but those bowlers are rarely remembered who dismiss these destructive batsmen and prevent them from scoring runs. Stops them and plays a bigger role in winning the match. The batsmen who scored two centuries each in the concluded series against South Africa are being discussed but no one is talking about the bowler who took the most wickets.

Varun Chakraborty played a big role in Team India winning the series, he/she did his/her work very calmly but he/she did not get any credit. Varun, who bowled many important spells in the series, also made many records in his/her name, but his/her performance was overshadowed by the batting of Tilak Verma and Sanju.

Varun is the spin king of the series

Varun Chakraborty, who has made his/her mark as a mystery spinner, has created history. he/she has become the first bowler to take the most wickets for India in the T20 International Bilateral Series. Before him/her, this big achievement was recorded in the names of two big tycoons of the country. In which the names of Ravichandran Ashwin and young star Ravi Bishnoi are included. Both these bowlers had taken 9-9 wickets respectively in the bilateral series for India. Varun took a total of 12 wickets in this series, which is a record. In the first T20 match, he/she took three wickets, while in the second he/she managed to take 5 wickets. Now he/she has taken two wickets in the third T20. Varan got two wickets in the fourth match also.

Over spin instead of side spin

After being out of the team in 2021, Varun worked hard to get the ball over-spin instead of side-spin. Varun bowled more overspin against South Africa, which included more spin in the air and produced more bounce and turn from the pitch, for which the African batsmen were not prepared. Varun had been continuously working on this type of bowling for two years, which paid off.
