Court gave big relief in the ongoing case against Salman Khan and Shilpa Shetty, know what was the matter


Big news has come out about Bollywood actors Salman Khan and Shilpa Shetty. Both the actors have been given relief by the Jodhpur High Court. Actually, a complaint was filed against Salman Khan and Shilpa Shetty in Churu Kotwali police station. This matter was heard in the High Court today. The bench of Jodhpur High Court has given its verdict in favor of Shilpa Shetty and Salman Khan in this complaint case.

Let us tell you here that an FIR was lodged against both Salman Khan and Shilpa Shetty under the SC-ST Act in Churu police station of Rajasthan. During the hearing in the High Court on Thursday, Advocate Prashant Patil presented her side on behalf of Shilpa Shetty. On the other hand, Shakti Pandey and Gopal Sandu presented the side of the petitioner.

FIR was filed in this case against Salman and some other stars.

This matter started when Salman’s film ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ was going to be released. It is said that in a promotional event of the film, the actor had said something due to which it was said that he/she had commented on the Scheduled Castes and it was termed as derogatory. Soon after this, an FIR was filed in the Patiala Court against Salman and some other stars in this case. During the film promotion, Salman Khan and Shilpa Shetty were accused of using caste and derogatory words for Valmiki community.

Court said- the word ‘Bhangi’ is not a caste

Shilpa Shetty has got a big relief from the court of High Court Justice Arun Moga. The High Court canceled the FIR registered against Shilpa under the SC-ST Act. The arguments given behind the relief given to Shilpa are something like this. It says that ‘FIR cannot be registered under SC-ST Act without sanction and inquiry’. It has also been said that the word ‘Bhangi’ is not a cast but is a slur. One of these arguments is that Shilpa did not address anyone with this word but addressed herself with this word. However, in this matter, Shilpa has also shared her apology on social media in the year 2017 itself.

what was the whole matter

This entire matter is of the year 2017. 23 year old Ashok Panwar had filed an FIR against Salman and Shilpa in Churu district. he/she had said that on December 22, 2017, he/she had heard Khan and Shetty openly using derogatory words, which had hurt the sentiments of his/her Valmiki community. Subsequently, Khan and Shetty were booked at Churu police station under sections 153A of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race, etc.) and Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (prevention of atrocities). The FIR was registered under sections of the Act.
