Through this, the preparations to deal with the corona in the hospitals will be reviewed.
According to information, the central government has confirmed that mock drills will be conducted across India on April 10 and 11 in both public and private hospitals to assess emergency preparedness to deal with COVID-19 cases.
The purpose of the mockdrill is to review the availability of medicines, beds in hospitals, medical equipment, drugs and medical oxygen. In case of shortage, their availability will be ensured.
Record 1590 new cases of infection after 146 days
Earlier on Saturday, after 146 days in India, 1590 new cases of corona infection were reported in a single day. The active cases have now increased to 8,601, according to the data updated on Saturday by the Union Health Ministry. During the last 24 hours, six people have lost their lives due to the epidemic.
Three people died in Maharashtra, while one person each died in Uttarakhand, Rajasthan and Karnataka. With this, the death toll from the pandemic has increased to 5,30,824. According to the data, the total number of infected people has increased to 4,47,02,257. Active cases are 0.02 percent of the total cases.
The national recovery rate has been recorded at 98.79 percent. The number of people recovering from the infection is 4,41,62,832. According to the ministry’s website, a total of 220.65 crore vaccines have been given so far under the nationwide vaccination campaign.
