Constitution Day celebrations will be celebrated today, President’s address in the Central Hall of Parliament, know what all the programs are.

New Delhi: President Draupadi Murmu will address the members of both the houses of Parliament on the occasion of ‘Constitution Day’ on Tuesday. A coin and postage stamp will be issued during this period. Books will be released. Along with this, the Sanskrit and Maithili versions of the Constitution will be released in the Central Hall of the Constitution House. It is noteworthy that the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution is being organized on 26th November. This program of Constitution Day will be held in the Central Hall of the Constitution House (Old Parliament House). Lok Sabha Secretariat says that this is the 75th year of the adoption of the Constitution of India.

President will address both houses of Parliament

The country’s President Draupadi Murmu will address the members of both the Houses of Parliament in the Central Hall of the Constituent Assembly today on the occasion of ‘Constitution Day’. According to the Lok Sabha Secretariat, Vice President of India and Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Union Ministers, Members of Parliament, heads of missions in Delhi and many others will be present on the occasion.

A commemorative coin and postage stamp will be released

The Vice President of India and the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha will also address the members of both houses, the Rajya Sabha and the Lok Sabha. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will deliver the welcome address. Giving information in this context, Lok Sabha Secretariat said that many important activities are to be organized on the occasion of Constitution Day. A commemorative coin and postage stamp will be released to mark the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of India.

These books will also be released

A book titled ‘Making of the Constitution of India: A Glimpse’ will be released. Another book titled ‘Making of the Constitution of India and its glorious journey’ is also to be released during this period. A booklet dedicated to the art of the Constitution of India will also be released here. The release of the Constitution of India in Sanskrit and the release of the Constitution of India in Maithili is also one of the main attractions of the event.

Short film based on the Constitution will be shown

On this occasion, a short film depicting the glory of the Indian Constitution, its creation and historical journey will also be shown. It is noteworthy that the winter session of Parliament has started from Monday 25th November. According to the Rajya Sabha Secretariat, this session will continue till December 20 next month. A joint meeting of both the sessions has been called to celebrate Constitution Day on 26th November, the second day of the session.
