Kharge, Chairman of Siddharth Vihar Trust in Karnataka, has withdrawn his/her request for allotment of five acres of land in Bengaluru to set up a ‘Multi-Skill Development Centre, Training Institute and Research Centre’. Letter was written to KIDB

In a letter to the Chief Executive Officer of Karnataka Industrial Development Board (KIADB) on September 20, Rahul Kharge wrote that ‘Our request for plot allotment for setting up Multi Skill Development Centre, Training Institute and Research Center has been withdrawn. he/she had said that the objective of Siddharth Vihar Trust is to create more employment opportunities for students and unemployed youth through skill development in emerging technology. Rahul Kharge said the trust preferred a plot within the KIADB Industrial Area as it was in proximity to high-growth industries. he/she had told that Siddharth Vihar Trust is a public educational, cultural and charitable trust and not a trust run by an individual or family.
