Congress leader Supriya Shrinet’s video on Sambhal violence was shown incomplete! The truth came out in fact check

Now videos related to this case also went viral on social media. In this series, a video is of Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinet. The person sharing the video has claimed that Supriya Shrinet said that if 17 year old Naeem died in the firing today, then that bullet can also be fired on your 17 year old son Naveen in the riots tomorrow. Many users on social media are spreading lies by making this incomplete clip viral with wrong context. Vishvas News investigated the viral post in detail. It was revealed that Supriya Shrinet was talking about peace and harmony in the society and saying that a bullet can hit a youth of any community. What came out in the investigation?
Vishvas News first scanned the ex-handle of Supriya Shrinet to investigate the viral post. The original video of the viral clip was found there. In the video posted on November 25, Supriya Shrinet can be heard speaking about the people killed in the violence in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh. At the end of this 1:59 minute video, Supriya Shrinet can be heard saying that it is difficult to live without peace and harmony. We, our family, our society cannot flourish without peace. Remember one thing, the children of those who made your children rioters are having fun studying in the universities of America and England. You decide, because if 17 year old Naeem died in the bullet fired today, then in the riots tomorrow that bullet can also be fired on your 17 year old Naveen.

After listening to the original video, it became clear that Supriya Shrinet, while talking about the youths who were killed in the violence, was saying that a youth of any religion can die in such violence. Therefore peace and harmony is necessary in the society. Whereas on social media, a part of the entire video has been cut out and made viral with wrong context. This changed the meaning of Supriya Shrinet’s statement.

Taking the investigation forward, Vishvas News contacted Girish Kumar of the social media team of Congress. While giving information, he/she said that the situation will become clear if the real statement of Supriya Shrinet is heard. his/her incomplete statement has been viral with wrong context. he/she further said that important parts have been edited and removed from the original video, so that it appears as if Supriya Shrinet has said something that spreads hatred between two communities. However, it is not like that. After watching the entire video, it will become clear that she was talking about peace and harmony in the society.

Taking the investigation forward, the e-paper of Dainik Jagran, Sambhal was scanned for latest information. A news published on 28 November reported that violence had broken out on 24 November 2024 during a survey in Jama Masjid in Sambhal. In this, four youths had died due to bullet injuries. An FIR has been lodged by the relatives of the deceased demanding action against unknown murderers.

Conclusion: Vishvas News investigation revealed that a part of Congress leader Supriya Shrinet’s statement on Sambhal violence has been tampered with and made viral with wrong context.
