Earlier, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi had also posted on social media platform X in support of Palestine on New Year 2024. he/she had written, ‘As we celebrate the beginning of a new year and wish each other may love, peace, laughter and goodness fill our lives. Let us remember our brothers and sisters in Gaza who are facing the most unjust and inhumane attack on their right to life, dignity and freedom. While our children are celebrating, their children are being murdered mercilessly. The so-called leaders of the world watch silently and move ahead carelessly in their quest for power and greed. Yet there are millions of ordinary people who are raising their voices demanding an end to the terrible violence taking place in Gaza, and these millions of brave hearts bring us hope for a new tomorrow. Be one of them.’
