New Delhi. Bangladesh team, which defeated Pakistan at home, is facing continuous defeats in India. Team India, which made a clean sweep in the Test series, also won the first T20 match easily. After the third consecutive defeat, even the Bangladesh captain has become helpless. Bangladeshi captain Nazmul Hossain Shanto admitted that his/her team failed to get off to a good start and they will need better planning in the upcoming matches.

India defeated Bangladesh by 7 wickets in the first T20 match. The host team won the match in just 11.5 overs. After this match, Nazmul Hussain Shanto said, ‘We did not start well. Powerplays are very important in T20 but we did not take advantage of it. We need better planning for the next matches. If we had some wickets, we could have scored 10-15 more runs.

Bangladesh captain said, ‘We did not have enough runs in terms of bowling. It was very difficult for the bowlers to defend small scores on such a pitch. We needed more runs. Rishad (Hussain) and Fitz (Mustafizur Rahman) bowled well.

Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav looked elated with the victory. he/she said, ‘We just tried to play our natural game. Whatever decision was taken in the team meeting was implemented. The Indian captain praised fast bowler Mayank Yadav and all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy, who made their debut in the match. Surya said, ‘I am very excited and eager to see them (Mayank and Nitish) in the next matches. It’s a good headache when you are on the field and you have extra bowling options. Some areas will need improvement, we will sit and talk about it before the next match.
