How to apply for scholarship?

The application process for the scholarship is ongoing, which is scheduled to continue till March 31, 2025. During this time, Indian students can fill the scholarship application form to study in China. Applicants must first create an account on the USTC application system and select the fellowship they are interested in pursuing. Applicants can apply for One Level or Two Level. USTC will decide which fellowships will be awarded after evaluating the applicant’s application form.

Only one fellowship will be given to each applicant. There are two levels of USTC scholarship. In this, tuition fees of students getting scholarship under Level One will be waived. They will also be given medical insurance. Apart from this, about Rs 30 thousand will also be received every month. Along with this, a flat or apartment will also be given to live. Students who will get scholarship under Level B, only their tuition fees will be waived.

What is the eligibility criteria?

Only those people who are not Chinese citizens can apply for the scholarship. They must have a valid passport. They should be physically and mentally healthy. The applicant must have studied at HSK Level 5 or above. If someone does not know Chinese, he/she can apply for exemption from the HSK test. But he/she will have to prove that he/she has studied Chinese language till high school.

The age of the applicant should be less than 30 years as on September 1, 2025. Before taking admission in undergraduate course, they will have to prove that their school studies will end by July 2025. People who have already received any other Chinese scholarship or fund cannot apply for this scholarship.
