College Admissions 2024: Without PPP, you will not get the benefit of reservation, you will have to take admission in general category

Haryana University Admission Reservation Policy: These days, the Higher Education Department is conducting centralized admissions in colleges. Meanwhile, a large number of students are applying to various colleges. But there are many students who are being left out of the reservation quota despite being natives of Haryana. These are the students who do not have a family identity card. Or those students who have not uploaded it.

Actually, students are given admission under different reserved categories. In which 85 percent of the seats are reserved for students who are natives of Haryana or those who have studied in schools here. For this, it is mandatory for them to have a Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) along with their original residence.

At the same time, 15 percent seats have been reserved under the All India Open Category. In this, students coming from any state of the country get a place on the basis of their percentage.

Reservation benefits will not be available without PPP

Sanjay Katyal, admission nodal officer of Government PG College, Sector-9, Gurugram, said that family identity card is mandatory for college admission. If a student does not upload his/her family identity card despite being from Haryana, he/she will not get any kind of reservation. No matter which reserved category he/she belongs to. he/she will be given place only in the All India Open Category.

Many students are being informed to upload their PPP. But the family identity card has not been given to the students even if they are in any category. They will not be able to get a place in the merit list on the basis of that priority.
