The Meteorological Department has predicted fog along with cold in Delhi. There is a possibility of dense fog in the next 2-3 days in some parts of Kota, Ajmer, Jaipur, Bharatpur, Bikaner divisions of Rajasthan. Another new western disturbance is likely to become active in Rajasthan around January 22.

There will be fog in Delhi

It will remain cold with rain in Delhi. After the rain, the minimum temperature in the city was measured at 10.3 degrees Celsius, 2.7 degrees Celsius above normal, while the air quality was recorded at 336, which was in the very poor category. The Meteorological Department says that the sky is expected to be cloudy with light rain and dense fog. The minimum temperature is expected to be around 10 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature is expected to be around 17 degrees Celsius.

It will be cold in Punjab and Haryana

Cold wave continues in Punjab and Haryana. It rained at some places in both the states on Thursday. The Meteorological Department gave this information. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in Amritsar, Punjab was recorded at 7.2 degrees Celsius, which is one degree below normal. The Meteorological Department says that cold will continue in the state.

The harshness of winter in Uttarakhand

Due to snowfall in Uttarakhand, the harshness of winter continues in the low lying areas. At the same time, the heavy rains that started in the capital Dehradun have increased the cold further. Due to heavy rains in the city, a drop in temperature has been recorded. In such a situation, children are facing a lot of difficulty in going to school.
The Meteorological Department had already predicted rain in Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Pithoragarh, Almora, Bageshwar, Haridwar, Dehradun, Nainital, Champawat and Udham Singh Nagar districts. There was sunshine in Uttarakhand on Wednesday. Apart from the four Dhams, there was snowfall in Harshil Valley. The Meteorological Department said that the weather will change once again. The rain in the plains has increased the cold.

Rajasthan: Rain forecast

There was light rain during the day on Wednesday in many areas including the capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur, due to which the temperature dropped further and the cold increased. According to the Meteorological Department, due to the impact of a new weather system in many areas of the state, light rain with thunderstorms is expected in some parts of Bikaner, Jaipur, Bharatpur, Ajmer and Kota divisions in the next few days. Hail may also occur during this period.

Cold wave outbreak in Kashmir

The outbreak of cold wave has increased significantly in Kashmir. Night temperatures have dropped in the valley. The Meteorological Department gave this information. The Meteorological Department said that the weather in the valley is expected to remain mainly dry for the next few days. According to the Meteorological Department, the valley will remain partly cloudy most of the time till January 18, but the weather will remain dry.

There is a possibility of light snowfall at higher altitudes. Presently the Kashmir valley is in the grip of ‘Chilla-e-Kalan’ (period of extreme cold). It is considered the hardest time of winter, which started from December 21.
