Common Law Test Answer Key: Consortium of National Law Universities (Consortium of NLUs) is going to release the answer key of Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025 today. The objection window to raise objections against the provisional answer key will start at 4 PM on December 2 and end at 4 PM on December 3. Candidates who appeared for the examination can check the provisional answer key on the official website consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
According to CNLU, the exam was conducted uninterrupted at 141 centers across 4 union territories and 25 states. “The examination witnessed an unprecedented participation rate, with 92.13 per cent post graduate and 96.36 per cent graduate applicants appearing for the examination,” the official notification said.

The final answer key of CLAT will be published on 9th December, after which the result of CLAT 2025 will be released on 10th December. Registration for admission counseling is scheduled to open on December 11 while the process will end on December 20. As per the detailed analysis shared by students and experts, the difficulty level for this year’s exam was lower than previous years. There is no change in the structure of the paper this time compared to CLAT 2024, as the number of questions in each section was the same as last year – that is, there were 120 questions in five sections.

The first allotment list will be released on December 26, after which candidates will have time till January 4, 2025, to make the payment and confirm their choices. After this, the second allotment list will be released on January 10, and candidates will have time till January 16 to make the payment and confirm their choices.
The third allotment list will be released on January 24, and candidates will have time till January 30 to make the payment and confirm their choices. The fourth and fifth allotment lists will be released on May 20 and 29 respectively. CLAT 2025 was held on December 1 from 2 to 4 pm (2 to 4:40 pm for PwD candidates).
