CLAT Exam 2025 News: Do you want to study law? If the answer is yes, then this news is very important for you. Because the notice of the biggest Law Entrance Exam in India for admission in law courses has come. This exam is- CLAT (Common Law Admission Test). CLAT 2025 notification is going to be released by the Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU), which conducts the CLAT exam. The notification and CLAT application form will be released on 7th July on CNLU and CLAT official website consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

CLAT Exam Date 2025: Exam this year

One thing needs to be noted. The CLAT exam is conducted earlier. That is, if you are going to appear in the CLAT 2025 exam, then remember that this exam will be taken on 1 December 2024 only. The NLU Consortium has announced that the advertisement for CLAT 2025 will be released on July 7, 2024 in both print and electronic mediums.

CLAT Exam Fees: CLAT Exam Fee

CLAT exam application fee varies category wise-

Category CLAT Fees
For General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI Rs 4000 (Rs 4500 with question papers)
For SC/ST/BPL Rs 3500 (Rs 4000 with question papers)
  • You have to apply online through CLAT Official Website.
  • After the CLAT Form link becomes active on July 7, you will have to register first.
  • After that, you will have to sign in with the login ID and password received and fill the detailed application form.
  • Finally the fees have to be deposited.

CLAT Exam Pattern: CLAT Exam Pattern

  • This exam will be conducted in offline mode for a duration of 2 hours.
  • The exam will have questions from five sections: English Language (22-26 questions), Current Affairs including General Knowledge (28-32 questions), Legal Reasoning (28-32 questions), Logical Reasoning (22-26 questions), and Numerical Ability (10-14 questions).
  • Each section will carry a specific percentage of the total paper, as mentioned in the CLAT syllabus 2025.

A total of 3,361 seats in National Law University (NLU) and other law colleges will be filled through CLAT Exam 2025. Candidates are advised to visit consortiumofnlus.ac.in for detailed information and updates about CLAT 2025.
