Chris Martin asked the meaning of ‘Jai Shri Ram’, was shocked to hear the roar of the crowd, also had fun with Bumrah

Coldplay is a British rock band since 1997. Singer in the band is Chris Martin. The line-up consists of bassist, Guy Berryman and Will Champion, including Jonny Buckland on guitar. Known for his/her live performances, this is his/her fourth visit to India and second performance in the country. Coldplay debuted on January 18, 2025 at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai. Since the concert, several clips and pictures of it have surfaced online and netizens are going gaga over it.Concert goers gave various updates related to it. Chris Martin was reading the boards at the concert when he/she noticed a banner with ‘Jai Shri Ram’ written on it. Singer read it and asked his/her audience what it meant. Hearing the roar of the crowd he/she said that this must be something good.

During the concert, the band performed several songs including their famous songs ‘Fix You’ and ‘A Sky Full of Stars’. However, another funny moment in the concert came when Chris loudly shouted the name of Indian cricket team bowler Jasprit Bumrah in the middle of the concert. After his/her performance, Chris was also heard thanking his/her fans by saying thank you. Chris booed for Jasprit Bumrah.

Chris Martin apologized for speaking Hindi

In another video, Chris Martin was also seen speaking Hindi. Singer then apologized for any confusion. he/she told the audience, ‘Thank you for letting me speak English. I’m sorry, my Hindi and Marathi are very bad but I tried my best. Now I will speak English, so thank you. Thank you for welcoming us to beautiful India. Thank you for giving us one of our favorite cultures in the world. This is our fourth visit to India.
