According to news agency ANI, Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai further said that even today there are many people who follow Buddhism in China. The Dalai Lama said that the Chinese government destroyed many Buddhist monasteries, but the number of followers of Buddhism in China has not decreased. He said that many Buddhist monasteries still exist in China and the people there have a deep connection with Buddhism.

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu also attended the preaching program of Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama at Kalachakra Maidan in Bodh Gaya on Saturday (December 31). More than 80,000 Buddhist devotees heard the discourse of the Dalai Lama.
