China will be irritated by India-Bangladesh friendship, PM Modi said something big

New Delhi: Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has come to India on a two-day visit. During this, she met PM Modi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi mentioned the importance of this meeting. he/she said that we have met about 10 times in the last one year. But today’s meeting is special because Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is our first state guest in the third term of our government. PM Modi said that Bangladesh is in confluence with us in our Neighborhood First Policy, Act East Policy, Vision Sagar and Indo-Pacific Vision. Bangladesh is India’s largest development partner and we give utmost priority to our relations with Bangladesh. I reiterate India’s commitment to realizing Bangabandhu’s vision of a stable, prosperous and progressive Bangladesh.

PM Modi mentioned the strong relations with Bangladesh

Prime Minister Modi said that in the last one year, we have together completed many important projects of public welfare. Trade in Indian Rupees has started between the two countries. The world’s longest river cruise on the Ganges River between India and Bangladesh has been successfully completed. The first cross-border friendship pipeline between India and Bangladesh has been completed. Export of electricity from Nepal to Bangladesh through the Indian grid has become the first example of sub-regional cooperation in the energy sector. Implementing such a large initiative in so many areas in just one year reflects the speed and scale of our relations.

This is what Modi said on India-Bangladesh clash in T20 World Cup

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Bangladesh is situated at the confluence of our Neighbourhood First Policy, Act East Policy, Vision SAGAR and Indo-Pacific Vision. During this time, PM Modi also mentioned the clash between India and Bangladesh in the T20 World Cup. he/she said that I wish good luck to both the teams for this evening’s Cricket World Cup match. Sheikh Hasina said- India is our trusted friend

Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that this is my first bilateral visit to any country after the 12th Parliamentary election of Bangladesh and the formation of our new government in January 2024. India is our key neighbour, trusted friend and regional partner. Bangladesh attaches great importance to our relations with India, which were born during our Liberation War in 1971. I pay tribute to the brave, martyred heroes of India who sacrificed their lives during our Liberation War in 1971.

Several agreements were signed before the joint press conference between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina. India and Bangladesh exchanged agreements and memoranda in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Hyderabad House in Delhi.
