China-Taiwan Tension: The danger of China’s invasion of Taiwan is increasing continuously. Recently, China sent a total of 18 nuclear capable aircraft to Taiwan’s territory. Taiwan gave this information on Monday (December 12). China has been considering Taiwan as its part since the beginning. The government of Taiwan has always refused to accept this fact. On Monday itself, China has imposed even more restrictions on imports from Taiwan, citing deteriorating relations with Taiwan.
Ever since Tsai Ing-Weng became the President in 2016, China has been putting political, military and economic pressure on Taiwan. Taiwan’s Defense Ministry informed that in the last 24 hours, China has entered a total of 21 aircraft in the south-western region of Taiwan.
Taiwan accused China
According to AFP, since December 2020, Taiwan has been making public the data of airspace intrusions daily. In the figures released so far, the figure of H-6 bombing aircraft is the highest. Recently, China had imposed strict restrictions on food items imported from Taiwan. Taiwan’s Prime Minister Su Tseng-chang also accused China of breaking international trade rules.
Most aircraft were sent in 2021
The capacity of China’s bombing aircraft H-6 is equal to carrying the weight of an atomic bomb. Sending 6 such aircraft towards Taiwan from China in a day is a very strong sign. However, in the last few days, China has increased the number of aircraft it sends towards Taiwan. In the month of October 2021, China had sent the maximum number of 16 H-6 aircraft towards Taiwan.
China increased strictness after the arrival of America
US leader Nancy Pelosi visited Taiwan in August. Since then, China has tightened its attitude on Taiwan. Due to this it has become a matter of concern all over the world.
