‘Chandu Champion’ did a lot of work on Tuesday, but ‘Munjya’ which is moving towards 100 Cr is more powerful

Kartik Aaryan’s ‘Chandu Champion’ is trying its best to strengthen its hold on the box office. However, 12-day-old ‘Munjya’ is giving it a tough competition and is still ahead in the race. Both these films benefited on Monday due to Bakrid holiday. But on Tuesday, ‘Chandu Champion’ tasted the first working day in the true sense. Hence, there was a -35% drop in earnings as compared to Monday. However, the film is still in a good position. But the horror-comedy ‘Munjya’ is still running more in theaters. ‘Chandu Champion’, directed by Kabir Khan, is a biopic of Muralikant Petkar. Kartik Aaryan’s hard work is reflected in the film and it is also being praised a lot. According to the report of sacnilk, on Tuesday, the 5th day, ‘Chandu Champion’ has made a net collection of Rs 3.25 crore in the country. A day earlier on Monday, it had earned Rs 5 crore. In this way, the total collection of the film in five days is now Rs 29.75 crore.

Worldwide collection of ‘Chandu Champion’

Chandu Champion is also facing a tough time in terms of worldwide collections. In five days, the film has collected a worldwide gross of Rs 43.00 crores. The film has received a very bad response in foreign countries and has so far managed to collect only Rs 7.65 crores in the foreign market.

‘Ishq Vishk Rebound’ will release on Friday

It is most important for ‘Chandu Champion’ to not let the pace of its earnings slow down in theatres. This is because while ‘Munjya’ is already adding to its troubles, ‘Ishq Vishk Rebound’ is also releasing on Friday. This is a college life love story, the film stars Pashmina Roshan, Jibran Khan, Rohit Shroff and Nayla Grewal. All four are new faces for the big screen. In such a situation, if this film attracts the audience even a little, then ‘Chandu’s’ dream of becoming a champion may be dashed.

‘Munjya’ defeated ‘Chandu Champion’ even on the 12th day

On the other hand, ‘Munjya’ is ruling the box office right now. This film has really surprised everyone. On the 12th day of its release, it has earned more than ‘Chandu Champion’ by earning Rs 3.40 crore on Tuesday. On Monday, the day of Bakrid, it earned Rs 5.25 crore. In this way, the total collection of this film starring Sharvari Wagh, Abhay Verma and Mona Singh has reached Rs 62.45 crore.

‘Munjya’ can join the 100 crore club

‘Munjya’, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, has already proved to be a superhit. Looking at the film’s earnings in the first weekend, it seemed that it would do a lifetime business of 50-55 crores. But the way it has attracted the audience, it will easily earn 90-95 crores. Not only this, if it maintains its hold in its third weekend as well, then ‘Munjya’ can join the 100 crore club and become a blockbuster.
