New Delhi: There was a huge uproar in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha on Monday over the statement made by former Congress President Rahul Gandhi in London about India’s democracy. The meeting of both the Houses had to be adjourned for the whole day after one adjournment due to the ruckus of the ruling party and the opposition. There are chances of uproar in both the Houses of the Parliament even today. In fact, while the BJP is adamant on demanding an apology from Rahul Gandhi for his/her statement in London, the Congress is demanding a JPC inquiry into the Hindenburg report on Adani.

Congress making further strategy with opposition parties

Congress will prepare further strategy by meeting with opposition parties on Tuesday. Leader of the Opposition in Rajya Sabha and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s chamber will hold a meeting of opposition parties at 10 am today, after which there may be an uproar again today. Piyush Goyal attacked Rahul in Rajya Sabha
In the Rajya Sabha, Union Minister and Leader of the House Piyush Goyal termed Rahul Gandhi’s statement as an insult to the country and demanded an apology from Rahul Gandhi.
