New Delhi. The Indian team will arrive for the Champions Trophy on January 12. The BCCI selectors will soon meet to select the Indian team for the home series against England and the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy. Which is starting from 19th February. According to the report, there will be a delay in the announcement of the team. Now this team can come on 17-18 January. BCCI has made a special request to ICC.

According to the report, Indian team’s young opening batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal can be included in the ODI team for the first time. 23-year-old Yashasvi has played 19 Tests and 23 T20 matches since his/her debut against West Indies in July 2023 and has performed well. Along with Jaiswal, all-rounder Washington Sundar can also be included in the team. Sundar played all three matches of India’s last ODI series against Sri Lanka in August 2024. his/her selection is considered almost certain.
