New Delhi. Pakistan has announced its 15 -member team for the Champions Trophy. Under the captaincy of Mohammad Rizwan, the Pakistani team will take part in this tournament in their house. The PCB announced its team in the last. Earlier, all 8 teams who participated in the tournament announced their squad. Fakhar Zaman has returned to Pakistan’s team, who took a century against India in the final of the Champions Trophy in 2017 and took away the victory from Team India. Pakistan Cricket Board has expressed confidence in veteran Babar Azam and fast bowler Shaheen Afridi.

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will be held from February 19. Earlier, Pakistan’s team will clash in the tri -series. Apart from Pakistan, teams from New Zealand and South Africa will participate in the tri -series. Pakistan is placed in Group A of the Champions Trophy. Rizwan & Co. will launch its campaign against New Zealand in Karachi on 19 February. After this, on 23 February, India will take on Dubai in Dubai and Bangladesh in Rawalpindi on 27 February. Asad Shafiq, member of the selection committee, said that experienced Fakhar Zaman is also included in the team. Fakhar Zaman played an important role in Pakistan’s victory against India in the 2017 Champions Trophy final.
