Champagne rain, Punjabi music in the dressing room, KKR celebrated till 2 am

New Delhi. KKR players stayed with their team owner till 2 am. Loud Punjabi music played in the dressing room. Then an event was organised in the hotel with champagne and cake. After the trophy was given, the entire Kolkata Knight Riders team stood on the field. This included the players’ families and support staff. Everyone was shining in ‘Champion 2024’ T-shirts. Reels were being made continuously to be posted on social media.

The organizing team was trying to remove the set up made for the prize distribution but KKR was in a party mood. Players like Venkatesh Iyer, Varun Chakravarthy, Nitish Rana and Rikul Singh were delighting their fans by giving selfies. These players even distributed some of their things to the ground staff as a memento.

Mentor Gautam Gambhir happily smiled and posed for a family photo with the IPL trophy. his/her two daughters, wife and he/she himself were wearing Champions of 2024 T-shirts. When the family members got tired of celebrating, the players and the support staff went to the dressing room for more celebration.

Owners Shah Rukh Khan, Jay Mehta and Juhi Chawla were there with their entire team. Their pep talks and applause could be heard outside. After about 45 minutes, the dressing room doors opened. ARK was the first to come out and headed towards the white Mercedes parked to take them to the hotel. Juhi and Jay Mehta came out after him/her. Then came managing director Venky Mysore.

Nitish Rana came out just behind the owners with a speaker in his/her hand on which Karan Aujala’s song ‘Why, Brown Black’ was playing. The left-hander was trying to sing but despite not singing very well, he/she looked full of enthusiasm. Similarly, captain Shreyas Iyer came out and waved at some spectators who had climbed the wall to see the departure of the KKR team bus.

The trophy was placed neatly on the first seat next to Gambhir’s seat. The process of taking photos with the golden trophy continued in the bus as well. While just a while ago, many pictures of it had already been taken in the ground. One thing was clear. The KKR team was going to celebrate till late in the night.
The celebration did not stop here. When they reached the hotel, some cake and champagne were waiting for them. Sunil Narayan’s birthday was on 26 May, he/she cut the cake first. Then captain Shreyas opened the champagne bottle and showered it on all the team members.

The team shouted with enthusiasm and the people watching the team from a distance also joined them. In this way there was a shower of champagne. This was just the beginning of a big and grand party.
