CBSE’s proposal for two board exams is ready, first exam in February, students will be able to choose the best score!

In the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) prepared for school education, it has been recommended to conduct board examinations twice a year to reduce the stress of students. CBSE has prepared a proposal based on the guidelines of NCF. Sources say that the Union Education Ministry is considering the proposal of CBSE. Soon the Higher Authority of the Education Ministry will discuss every point of the CBSE proposal and all aspects of the CBSE proposal will be placed before Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Sources say that the Ministry of Education will look at every aspect of the board examination twice. When can the system of two board examinations be implemented, what will be the timing of the exam, when will the application for the second board exam start, all these issues will be important.

It is being told that soon there will be a high level meeting of CBSE in this regard. Sources say that as far as the timing of board exams twice a year is concerned, the first exam is more likely to start in February itself. After that, when the result of the first exam is out, the application window will open for those students who want to appear in the second exam. Students will have the option of giving board exams twice a year and they can choose the best score from both the exams.

It has been recommended in the NCF that there is a need to reduce the stress of exams on students. For this, changes should be made in the pattern of competitive exams as well as board exams. Just like JEE Main exam is held twice a year and the student chooses the best score, board exams can also be held in the same way.

Suggestion to change CUET exam pattern

Experts say that when the system of exams twice a year will be implemented, exams can be started a few days before February 15 and the results can be released sooner than before so that time can be freed up for the second exam window.

JEE Main exam for engineering is held in January. After the board exams, there is also a second stage of JEE Main. The NCF prepared by the committee headed by former ISRO chief K. Kasturirangan also recommended conducting board exams twice a year.
