ICSE and CBSE 12th Marking Scheme Questioned in Supreme Court: CBSE and ICSE board had released the evaluation criteria and marking scheme for class 12 a few days back. On this basis, the schools have also started preparing the results. Now questions are being raised on the pattern of evaluation issued by the board. The matter has reached the Supreme Court. The court has sought answers from both the school education boards on this.
Several students and parents have together raised this issue and challenged it in the apex court. He says that it is very difficult to understand this evaluation formula of the board.

Senior advocate Vikas Singh, appearing for the students and parents, said that now the cases of corona infection have come down. In this case, physical exams must be conducted. He argued that even a senior maths teacher is not able to understand the evaluation formula of ICSE and CBSE 12th, then how will the students understand.

ICSE, CBSE 12th Evaluation Formula: What the Court Said
The matter is being heard under the understanding of the bench of Supreme Court Justice AM Khanwilkar and Justice Dinesh Maheshwari. In Monday’s hearing, Justice AM Khanwilkar said that ‘we cannot look at the marking scheme in view of any one person. If this formula discriminates, we can understand. But cannot see from the point of view of a particular person.’

The Supreme Court has asked CBSE and ICSE boards to present their explanation on this matter. Both the boards will present their side in the court today. The hearing will take place from 2 pm.
