Lok Sabha Elections School News: Voting for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 is taking place in 7 phases. A big announcement has been made by the schools of UP to ensure that more and more people vote. Under this, St. Joseph’s College located in the state capital Lucknow will not only give 10 extra marks to those students whose parents exercise their franchise. Rather, one additional day’s salary will also be given to the employees participating in the election process.

Anil Aggarwal, managing director of St. Joseph’s Group of Institutions, said, “The 10 extra marks given by the school can be in a single subject. Or 10 extra marks can be given in all the subjects combined.” Aggarwal said, “We have taken this decision in view of increasing the voting percentage in the Lucknow Lok Sabha elections.”

Will be cast in Lucknow on 20th May

Voting for the Lok Sabha seat of Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, will be held on May 20 under the 5th phase. Voting is to be held on a total of 49 Lok Sabha seats in the country under the 5th phase. Lucknow Lok Sabha seat is among the hot seats of the country. Because senior BJP leader Rajnath Singh is contesting elections from here.
