Case of the most dangerous variant of monkeypox, Kled-1, found in India, know what it is


A 38-year-old man in Kerala has been found to have the Mpox clade 1 variant, which is a strain of the monkeypox virus. This is the first case in India. Note that monkeypox has been declared a public health emergency by WHO. This person had returned from the UAE.

According to WHO, it can spread from person to person through close contact, including skin-to-skin contact, respiratory droplets, or contact with contaminated material.
