FIR (No. 72/25) has been registered against Ori, Darshan Singh, Partha Raina, Hrithik Singh, Rashi Dutta, Rakshita Bhogal, Shagun Kohli and Anastasila Arzamaskina for violating the order of the District Magistrate (DM) and hurting religious sentiments. he/she has been booked under Section 223 of the Indian Justice Code (BNSS).
FIR lodged against Eori and friends
Reasi police said that despite strict ban on alcohol and non -vegetarian food in the cottage suite area of Katra, they were found drinking alcohol inside their hotel. On receiving the complaint, SSP Reasi Paramveer Singh (JKPS) directed strict action against criminals, emphasizing the policy of zero-assessment for any work that dissolves the sanctity of religious places.
Police investigation started
Reasi police said, “A special team was formed under the supervision of SP Katra, DSP Katra and SHO Katra to investigate the case. Notices will be sent to all the accused including ORRY, in which they will be instructed to join the investigation. SSP Reasi has reiterated that any person who violates the law will be strictly dealt with when indulging in activities like alcohol or drug consumption at religious places, especially at religious places.
Leader Sunil Sharma also condemned
Leader of Opposition in Jammu and Kashmir Sunil Sharma strongly condemned the incident, saying that it is unfortunate that a Bollywood person has hurt religious sentiments. he/she said that such an act should never be done on Mata Vaishno Devi, which is a symbol of the faith of millions. Sunil Sharma said on the police action that an FIR has been registered and demanded strict action against all the people involved in it. he/she further said that the consumption of alcohol and non -vegetarian food at such a holy place is completely unacceptable and should not be tolerated.
